In a Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous (VUCA) Word, companies should create and implement new approaches in managing supply chains, and projects. This imperative of business renewal has been accentuated with the COVID19 Crisis. The objective of PROLOG 7th edition is to discuss innovative solutions adopted by organizations operating in a VUCA environment to improve their supply chain and project management.

HUEMANN Martina

Professor, WU Vienna University of Economics and Business, AT

Martina Huemann is Professor at the WU Vienna University of Economics and Business where she heads the Project Management Group in the Department Strategy and Innovation and is the Academic Director of the Professional MBA Program: Project Management. She has published widely and received the IPMA Research Award 2015. She is Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Project Management and Founding Editor-in-Chief of the journal Project Leadership and Society. Martina Huemann has 20 years of experience in research, teaching and consulting. She is co-founder and facilitator of enable2change, a network of independent experts to translate strategy into action. In research as well as in consulting and teaching she believes in a co-creation process with practitioners and other stakeholders.

PAPADOPOULOS Thanos

Professor, Kent Business School, UK

Thanos Papadopoulos is a Professor of Management (Information Systems/Operations Management) and Department Lead for Research and Innovation at the Department of ‘Analytics, Operations, and Systems’ of Kent Business School, University of Kent, UK. His research is focusing on the problems that are at the nexus of operations management and information systems and more recently on Big Data within Supply Chains and Operations. He has published over 150 articles in peer reviewed journals and conferences including, inter alia, the British Journal of Management, Decision Sciences, European Journal of Operational Research, International Journal of Operations and Production Management, International Journal of Production Research, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, International Journal of Production Economics, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, and Production Planning and Control. He is Associate Editor for British Journal of Management and International Journal of Operations and Production Management. He also sits at the Editorial board of Production Planning and Control and Technological Forecasting and Social Change and is Distinguished Editorial Board member of International Journal of Information Management and International Journal of Information Management Data Insights.

FOSSO WAMBA Samuel

Professor, Toulouse Business School, FR

Dr. Samuel Fosso Wamba, Ph.D., HDR, is the Associate Dean of Research at TBS Education, France. He earned his Ph.D. in industrial engineering at the Polytechnic School of Montreal, Canada. His current research focuses on the business value of information technology, blockchain, artificial intelligence for business, business analytics, and big data. He is among the 2% of the most influential scholars globally based on the Mendeley database that includes 100,000 top scientists for 2020 and 2021. He ranks in ClarivateTMs 1% most cited scholars worldwide for 2020 and 2021 and in CDO Magazine's Leading Academic Data Leaders 2021.

BESIOU Maria

Professor, Kühne Logistics University, DE

Maria Besiou is Dean of Research and Professor of Humanitarian Logistics at Kühne Logistics University. She received her Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and Operations Management from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) in Greece. She holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from AUTH. Before joining KLU she worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Social Innovation Centre at INSEAD, France. As a researcher, she is currently involved in the Research Institute on Leadership and Operations in Humanitarian Aid (RILOHA), which seeks to enhance the effectiveness of humanitarian aid via psychological insights, and she is the Academic Director of the Center for Humanitarian Logistics and Regional Development (CHORD). Her research appears in several case studies and peer-review international journals like Production and Operations Management (POM), Journal of Operations Management (JOM), Manufacturing and Service Operations Management (MSOM), Journal of Business Ethics (JBE), and European Journal of Operational Research (EJOR). Besiou currently serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Humanitarian Logistics and Supply Chain Management (JHLSCM), as a Senior Editor of the Disaster Management Department (DMD) of Production and Operations Management (POM), and on the editorial review boards of Journal of Operations Management (JOM) and Production and Operations Management (POM).

Julien Husson Professeur à l’Université de Lorraine est directeur de l’IAE Metz School of Management depuis 2011. Il a débuté ses études en Lorraine puis a obtenu un doctorat en management à l’université Lyon III en 2005 et une habilitation à diriger des recherches à l’Université de Metz en 2011. Il a démarré sa carrière à Lyon comme consultant dans le domaine de la gestion des établissements de santé avant de rejoindre l’université comme maître de conférences en 2006. En 2008, il devient vice-président relations entreprises de l’université de Metz. Chercheur au CEREFIGE, il est auteur d’une centaine de communications et de publications. Il est le titulaire de la chaire Management de la Santé de l’Université Lorraine. Il enseigne le management de projets et l’analyse de la valeur. Julien HUSSON est investi dans la société civile où il est adjoint au Maire de Metz, auditeur à l’Institut des Hautes Études de la Défense Nationale (IHEDN) et il mène régulièrement des missions d’expertise en France et à l’étranger.

Dr. Laurence Viale holds a Phd in Management Sciences and is Assistant Professor at Ecole de Management de Strasbourg (University of Strasbourg-France). She is heading a Master degree in Business Management and the major in Supply Chain Management/International Purchasing of Programme Grande Ecole. Member of Humans and Management in Society (HuManiS), her research interests include roles of Purchasing agents in the innovation process and more recently supply chain digitalization and resilience. She has twenty years of experience in Strategic Buying and corporate sourcing. She is also a member of the IPSERA association.

ZOUARI Dorsaf

Dr. Dorsaf Zouari holds a PhD in Supply Chain Management from Grenoble Alpes University, France. She is Assistant Professor at Grenoble Alpes University and Head of supply chain bachelor at IUT de Valence. Dorsaf teaches supply chain management and project management to students of Bachelor, domestic and international programs. Member of the Centre d'Etudes et de Recherches Appliquées à la Gestion in Grenoble (France), Dorsaf's research investigates inter-organizational coordination between supply chain partners and mechanisms for managing their interests, resolve conflicts. Actually she is working on the impact of digitalization on Supply Chain disruption.

FRITZ Morgane

Dr. Morgane M. C. FRITZ is Associate Professor in Sustainable Supply Chain Management at Excelia Business School, France. She holds a Ph.D in Sustainability.oriented Management from the University of Graz, Austria. She is a member of the European Operations Management Association (EurOMA) and of the Principles of Responsible Management Education (PRME) working group on the Sustainability Mindset. She published in various peer-reviewed journals (e.g., International Journal of Production Economics, International Journal of Physical Distribution and Logistics Management, Journal of Cleaner Production) in collaboration with international researchers. She is reviewer and guest editor for several academic journals and conferences. Her research focuses on sustainable supply chain management, sustainable procurement, sustainability & digitalization of supply chains, business ethics, and stakeholder management.
